Feed-Back sent by : A. M. Riad Dear Sirs,
Iwoould like to tell you that I'm really passed with a very strange incidentwith the hotel Rochambeau by the way i used your airport transport and it was great , the mini bus takes us to the Rochambeau hotel so i went to check in at the reception ,then the recepionist asked if i have many lugages with or not so i asked why ? and this is was the shock of my life and the time was around 8.00 in the afternoon the guy told me that the hotel is fully booked and as a favour from them they kindly switch me to another hotel wihch is less standard and also far from the champs-elysee' it was in the area of St.Lazzare and it's called Au Printemps , really i was surpprised of that kind of action and i kept trying and asking the man at the reception to get me any kind of room but with no luck and he kept insiting that he doesn't have any vacancy and keep telling me that the other hotel is much better than the Rochambeau also at the mean time a guest came in with his lugage and the receptionist gave a key and a room so i asked the receptionist you have already gave that man a room and the answer i get from him that's he is single and the room is single so i told O.K give a single room and I'm willing to stay in it with my second partner but he refused saying he doesn't have a vacat rooms.
With regards to this situation and because we were very tired coz we were travelling since early in the morning I couldn't find any other choice but to accept what he offered me and to go tto the other hotelalso he told me that the new hotel will have the same rate wihch I was going to pay at the Rochambeau in spite the big difference between the two hotels and this is what happened with me at the end I really had a very bad experience and Idon't know what to say and what to do just to feel to get my own rights which I lost at the hotel Rochambeau.
Thank you and best regards , Score given : 1/10

Feed-Back sent by : M.S.
Score given : 8/10
Feed-Back sent by : Harald Eiss We stayed 2 nights in a double room. The room was small but very clean, the room service very good. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have ever found in a *** hotel in France - although they had no butter the 2 mornings. The staff was friendly but not very competent, their English was bad and they had no information on special questions to the sourrounding of the hotel (for example they did not know neihter where parking cards where available nor the opening hours of the big warehouses lafayette and printemps, which are only 1 mile away. Anyways, we'll come back. Score given : 7/10

Feed-Back sent by : Sharon Kent We stayed at the hotel for two nights and were very pleased with its location. The bath did not have a plug and as there wasnt a real shower we had to make do. The television was also not working and although we did inform the hotel nothing was done to rectify the problems. Tea and coffee making facilities were not available and we were disappointed about this. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times Score given : 7/10
Feed-Back sent by : Michelle L. Walton I stayed for five nights; I booked one double room; the room was clean and nicely decorated and I had my own balcony. The bed was comfortable and I slept great.
The staff were AMAZING!!! I was celebrating my birthday on this holiday and both Ester and Nicolas (day and night Front Desk Receptionists) went that extra mile to make my birthday celebration fabulous. From Ester making arrangements for the staff at the restaurant where I went for my birthday dinner to sing "Happy Birthday" with a candle in both French and English to Nicolas pulling out all the stops to get me in to see a fabulous cabaret at the Crazy Horse. Everyone was very accomodating and made my birthday holiday fantastic!
I will most defintely stay at the Hotel Rochambeau the next time I am in Paris.
I got a great deal on the room, the reservation process via the internet was quick and easy. I would definitely use this service again. Score given : 10/10
Feed-Back sent by : christian bauer We stayed one night in the hotel Rochambeau. We booked a double room. The stay in the hotel was pleasant. Everthing was in a very good shape, inklusive the staff, who was very friendly. So finally, we absolutely can recommend this house, also because the place and setting in the 8eme arrondisement is excellent. Regards Chris bauer Score given : 8/10
Feed-Back sent by : Janelle When we arrived at the Hotel Rochambeau we were told they had our reservation but did not have a room for us, and sent us to another hotel on the outskirts of Paris city limits. After hours of complaining (because they originally refused to call other hotels on our behelf), they finally found us a hotel in the city, nearby to the Hotel Rochambeau. The hotel we stayed at, however, was not nearly as nice as the H.R. was and we stayed in twin beds instead of double, and paid more that we should have had to, as this new hotel's rates were a great deal less than the H. R's rates. We were VERY DISAPPOINTED in the Hotel Rochambeau and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND placing a reservation with them, as they haven't learned how to honor/keep reservations. Score given : 2/10

Excelent location near everything with nice breakfast included.
Nice staff but a bit disorganized.

Feed-Back sent by : Michael Hotel staff was great, and spoke english which was a plus. Hotel is in a great location for metro, tour bus, shopping, sites, etc. My big complaint, however, is that the A/C in my room was broken when I checked-in, and despite their re-assurance it would be fixed, I spent the first two nights sleepless and sweaty in bed. To their credit, they did fix it on the third day and the rest of my stay was enjoyable. My room was also very small, although priced the same as bigger rooms, and the showers were small in all rooms. Score given : 7/10
Feed-Back sent by : Fiona MacDonald The hotel Rochambeau was an excellent choice. It was very central (about 20 mins walk from the Champs Elysees), the room was ideal, very fresh and clean with air-conditioning ,although quite small. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and the continental buffet breakfast was delicious. We had a very enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again or recommend it to others. Score given : 9/10
Feed-Back sent by : Pii Alanen We (2 persons) stayed four nights, had one doubleroom.
The hotel was comfortable and nice, but the room was really small and it was not soundproofed (as the hotel claims on their website).
Location was just great, near Champs Elysee´s and metro.
The hotel staff were polite, friendly and nice.
We might consider returning to this hotel. Only thing that bothers is that one morning there was a mouse in the breakfastroom. That was little creepy.
But everything else was just fine, and we had great time in the beautiful Paris. Score given : 8/10

Feed-Back sent by : Nathalie We stayed for 3 nights in the hotel early March 2004 and we really liked it. The room was lovely and very clean. The staff was always very nice and helpful and the breakfast gorgeous. The location makes it a great base to visit Paris as it is close to everything and is very handy for taking metro buses etc..The area as well is lovely and safe. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and will go back myself when I visit Paris again. Score given : 9/10
Feed-Back sent by : mv i stayed one night in double room. location is not bad, quite spacious for the 3 stars hotel in paris. very clean, staffs are nice except one lady of breakfast buffet. she was very unpolite and made my start of the day bad!
the only thing i did not like was that they put the sliding door b/w bathroom and bedroom. ok, the idea was good. but becourse this is not fixed well, not only i could slide it easyly but also i had to worry when the door is going to fall on me.
anyway it was in the range of satisfactory for this price. i had used your service a couple of times, and think it is well made. will definitely use your service again in near future. thanks. Score given : 7/10

Feed-Back sent by : courtney Hotel Rochambeau was a really really nice place to stay. The breakfast was totally satisfactory and served till 11 in the morning, which was really good. The staff was fairly friendly and I think the best thing about it was the location- it was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do, and pretty much everything was within walking distance. I liked it a lot and would definitely stay there again! Score given : 10/10

Feed-Back sent by : Mr. Vestergaard The location of the hotel is very fine. The area/street it self is not that interresting, but you can easily get to all the attractions by foot og by metro.
Access by car is a general problem in the center of Paris, so we had to park in a parking basement on the next street (3-500 meters away - price 21 Euro per day).
The staff was very friendly and provided us with a good service. Buffet breakfast was included and it was fine, but nothing special - bread with cheese and jam, crossaints, pain au chocolat, juice and coffe/Tea.
The room standard - and the hotel in general - was not high and not low - it didn't seem 'recently renovated' but it was OK and it was clean. I would rate it as a medium standard - and it's simular to a lot of hotels i have visited i Copenhagen.
We stayed two adults and one 6-year old child in the hotel in the begining of july 2003 on a 'Last minute offer' for 90 Euro for a double room. We only had to pay the city tax (1 Euro) for the child (the extra bed was free! - very good service)
I general it was a pleasant stay - but (as expected)not in luxury! Score given : 8/10

Feed-Back sent by : Sherry This is an enjoyable hotel for the category and price range. The bi-lingual staff at the front desk is very helpful. There are two metro stations within a few blocks of the hotel which is good - it is not a convenient location to catch a taxi. Score given : 9/10
Feed-Back sent by : Bob Rizzo Very friendly hotel, very clean and well-run. We will definitely return, location is great--close to lots of sites. Bed was a bit hard, but sheets changed daily, staff very helpful, breakfast was good & worth the price, lots of very good restaurants within two - four blocks, very close to a major metro stop. I would highly recommend. Score given : 8/10
Feed-Back sent by : Mette Thygesen Lovely hotel. The rooms are small (but I suppose most hotel rooms are so in Paris) but clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was a bit old, but still it was clean. The personel was freindly and helpful. The breakfast was all right - did not have to wait for a table at any time. On our last day, we had to leave early in the morning (just before breakfast was served) and the guy at the reception asked us if we didn´t want some breakfast eventhough it wasn´t quite ready, which we thought was very kind of him. A good 3 star hotel which we can only recommend. Score given : 8/10
Feed-Back sent by : Michael My wife and I stayed in Paris for five nights in a double room at the Hotel Rochambeau. We are very pleased with the hotel's location. It is close to the metro, grand magasins, and major sites. There are many conveniences nearby, such as tabac, pharmacy, patisseries, good restaurants, and grocery stores. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The front desk was very helpful in finding transportation to the airport for me. We were also happy with this website's service. We will stay at the Hotel Rochambeau and use this website again when we return to Paris. Score given : 9/10
Feed-Back sent by : Michael We were very pleased with this comfortable and quaint hotel. It is situated far from tourist and traffic noise, but still very close to major sites. The metro, gocery stores, tabac, pharmacies, and very good restaurants are all practically next door. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I would stay here again for my next trip to Paris. Score given : 9/10
Feed-Back sent by : Tazmi The room was clean and comfortable. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast consisted of various juices, cereals, croissants, toast, jam and bagguettes. Best of all the hotel is in an excellent location--within walking distance to major tourist attractions and good shopping. All in all, I highly recommend the Hotel Rochambeau and would definitely stay there again. Score given : 8/10
Feed-Back sent by : Marlies B. Murphy The Rochambeau hotel was excellent. Its location near Place Augustin,
Gare St. Lazare, and in walking distance to the Champs Elysee could not have
been better. The staff of the hotel was friendly, helpful and polite. The
room was small for two but adequate for us. It was nicely furnished and
professionally decorated. It was cleaned every day and my daughter
especially appreciated that the bed linens were changed every day. The
receptionists - all of them- were outstanding and knowledgeable and very
helpful.
However, I noticed that, at times, the hotel seemed understaffed with
personnel, especially during breakfast time between 7 -10:30 a.m. The only
staff around was always very busy trying to clean up used dishes to free the
tables for other guests arriving for breakfast and several guests had to
wait for tables to be cleaned. I believe that the hotel should hire one more
person during these peak times to make sure that all guests can be seated
for breakfast right away. I cleaned up my table myself because I wanted to
go sightseeing and not sit around and wait for the only cleaning person to
clean up after others so I could have breakfast.
The breakfast food was very good and I enjoyed eating the croissants every
day. It was also adequate in terms of variety of selection. Perhaps a few
selected fruits would have been a good idea to present for breakfast.
4. I would return to the hotel Rochambeau any time and would definitely
recommend it to others visiting Paris.
5. Your service also was great, very efficient and staffed with competent
English speaking people -although I do speak French very well.
In summary, I have been in Paris at least five times over during my life.
But I enjoyed my stay this time more than any other times before. Paris is a
splendid city and I had forgotten how truly beautiful your capital is. Vivre
Paris!
Sincerely, Score given : 8/10
