I am asking about a charge on my American Express bill.
We had a reservation at the BW St. Lazare, but cancelled the reservation and did not stay there. The people at the hotel were very nice when we stopped there to cancel, very helpful, but it seems that we are being charged for the room anyhow.
Please have someone check on this and get back to me, as my charge card bill has arrived and I need to straighten it out before

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was comfortable, the room was slightly small/ quaint.

when I arrived at the hotel I was told that there was a problem and no room was available so I must go to another hotel. The same happened to a man who was there at the same time. Tha taxi and said it was paid for. But the taxi driver had not been paid and required paying by me. The substitute hotel was not very comfortable. Next time I will choose a different hotel chain.
