Reasonable little hotel, but be prepared to find VERY small rooms. There was an open closet, but no hangers. Bathroom was minuscule and the showerhose was broken (a problem that was left unsolved for the 4 days I spent there). On the other hand, this hotel was located quite centrally, near a metro station (Saint Lazare). Employees were nice. Breakfast was good. Verdict: somewhat too expensive for what you get.

Evenso,we had confirmed reservtions(thru france hotels .net)we send the hotel a fax to confirm our reservations,which they did.Our room was not available when we wanted to check in We had to stay in one of there other hotels,for one night and check in the next day.On top of it they(the hotel)claimed before we arived,there was a problem with our credit card, when we checked with american express there was no problem and the hotel had NEVER CHECKED on our acount.Which makes us believe the hotel mad up the story because they did not have a room ready as promised.There where not very friendly at all!! We travel a lot in europe and know the different.The hotel was okay, the breakfast was good.WE will use Your service again(You have good bargains)but we where some what disapointed that You could not help us ,when we ask You to(regarding the hotels bogus claim of a credit card problem) REGARDS Jerrine Varila

I spent 5 day in Paris in August and I'm very satisfied about the hotel. Breakfast was very good and the room was ok. The hotel has a good position to visit the city. The staff could be more shining. My consideration are so good because the price of the room was excelent.

Je ne parle pas bien l'anglais mais je tiens à vous communiquer mon mécontentement car pour le prix (remise déduite) nous nous sommes contenté d'une chambre sous les combles (en pleine canicule de juillet).la salle de bain n'étant pas faite pour les grands, j'ai du m'asseoir pour uriner et me laver. Merci les bonnes affaires...

My husband and me have enjoyed our stay at this hotel from 25 July till 1 August 03. It is a well situated,clean hotel in typical parisian style at a very reasonable price. The rooms are a not big and it may be a little noisy when the window is open, but generally OK. The breakfast is very good. We can recommend it and would use it again.

Notre séjour à cet hôtel a été en général assez bien. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux! La seule chose qui nous a déçu est que l'on disait sur leur site que les chambres de l'hôtel avait été rénovées; notre chambre toutefois ne semblait pas l'avoir été. Le tapis datait de plusieurs décennies!!! La femme de chambre est venue frapper à notre porte deux fois même si on lui a dit que nous serions partis à 11 h et n'était pas très sympathique, c'est comme si nous l'empêchions de faire son travail.

We stayed 3 nights at Jardin de paris Saint Lazare.We booked a dubbel room and the room we got was very small. Now it didnt matter as we were out most of the time. Had we stayed longer the room could easily have made one claustrafobic. The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast included , was nice but could have been with more choices. But overall are we happy with our stay, the price was very affordable and we recomend to people that want to go to Paris for sightseeing as it is located close to the Metro at stationen Place de Clichy eller stationen Liege.

When we got there they had overbooked, so they sent us to another hotel in their chain. That hotel was good for the price, breakfast was a typical European breakfast, the rooms were small but clean. Overall, it was a good stay.

Cheap hotel, but not worth the money unless you are lookin for bad service. There wasn't even enough china to serve the food on (which often also was scarce!) at the breakfast. Staff was rude and lied to us saying all rooms were the same as we wanted to change room to a more convenient one. As we wanted to prolong the stay they wanted us to pay the double price because one we got through internet was a "special". When asked if we would get the lower price for the same amount of days if we went out and booked on the internet at the same moment the answer was "yes"! That is very customer friendly, I would say.

I have reserved a double bed room through the internet. the facility is not enough. no air-conditioner. no fan. no hair dryer and the lift is so small and old. after i arrived this hotel and go inside the double bed room, i just feel not comfortable, because it's really really small room that i have been saw any hotel. so i requested to change two single bed room. single bed room is little better than double room but at least i can have place to walk and put my luaggue and i think the wall is so think and each room 's window is near other room's window, so at night is very easy to hear other people talking. i think the price is high for rent that class hotel.

réservation à hôtel "jardin de paris saint lazare"
redirigé vers un autre hôtel ("hotelde liège) car premier hôtel complet alors que la réservation était en ordre (d'après l'hotelier, il s'agit d'une pratique très courante). Ce deuxième hôtel dont j'ai oublié le nom mais qui se situe rue de moscou (à 200 m) était pouyeux, délabré, sale et pas sympathique! (sans parler du petit déjeuner...)
52 EUR pour cette merde, une fois, mais pas deux! info: il y a un hôtel ibis à 500 m pour le même prix et une bien meilleure qualité. Avant de réserver dans l'hôtel des "jardins de paris" (ou via ce site), consultez le site de la chaine hotelière accor ( www.accor.fr ) qui font des lastminute pour le même prix...
A bon entendeur...

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The location is very convenient which is very close to the subway station, ie, Liege. This station is closed at 8pm and also on Sunday. As we couldn't understand French, we didn't realize the problems until we experienced once when we returned to the hotel after 8pm. I would suggest the web organizer to provide more information about the location and surrounding of the hotel. The map should be marked clearer with the nearest subway station. On the other hand, the room-rate which we paid online was much cheaper than the walk-in rate. The breakfast included was satisfactory. We had a Twin room, but they put two beds together due to the limited size of the room. Overall, the service is satisfactory, but can be further improved.

We are satisfied with the condition of the hotel compared with the price. But the traffic is not so convinient. The nearest Metro - Liege is closed after 20:00. And Paris had the strike during our trip. So we had to walk to some places, such as Montmartre, Opera, and go back home in the night. We were so tired when we got to our hotel everyday.

We were satisfied with the hotel, staff and services.
Location and breakfasts were very good.
The room could have more shelves or a cupboard but we managed it.

Nous avons passé deux nuits dans cet hôtel de la rue d'amsterdam.Nous avions réservé une chambre avec deux lits jumeaux(twin).La chambre était plutôt exigüe mais propre et la literie irréprochable.Quant à la salle de bains, mieux vaut ne pas être trop "volumineux"sinon s'habiller devient impossible!Toutefois,là encore je n'ai aucun reproche à formuler côté propreté.Un inconvénient cependant:il n'y a pas de prise électrique dans la salle de bains(il y a quand même une prise tout près de la porte ce qui permet de se sécher les cheveux ou de se raser tout en se voyant dans la glace).L'hôtel est situé tout près de la gare st Lazare, de multiples restaurants, de pharmacies...ce qui ne préjudicie pas du tout à la tranquillité:en effet l'hôtel est parfaitement insonorisé(du moins notre chambre qui donnait sur une petite ruelle des plus tranquilles).Le personnel était très aimable et toujours à disposition(quelle que soit l'heure, il y a toujours quelqu'un à l'accueil).Je pense que si nous avions de nouveau à séjourner dans les environs, nous n'hésiterions pas à choisir le même hôtel.Par ailleurs, c'est sans hésitation que nous utiliserions à nouveau vos services.En effet, nous n'avons eu aucune surprise à notre arrivée.Tout c'est passé comme prévu:sur présentation de notre "bon" de réservation, nos clés nous ont été remises;d'autre part, aucune somme d'argent n'a été prélevée jusqu'au jour de notre départ;enfin,le prix annoncé par vos services est bien celui qui nous a été pratiqué(120€pour deux nuits, petits déjeuners compris).Ainsi, grâce à vos services, toutes nos craintes se sont révélées infondées.Je recommande donc à toute personne devant trouver un hôtel, l'utilisation de vos services.

The Hotel was nice and clean. The only thing I would like to mention is, the rooms are very small (10 to 15m2 I guess. In the picture it looks bigger than actually it is). But its ok if you have booked the hotel only for sleeping at night. There is so much to see in the daytime.....The actual rate was 100 Euro. But from the site I got it for 55 euro. I dont mind giving 55 euro for this, 100 euro is costly.

we stayed at the hotel for four nights on a room only basis. It was convenient for metro access and was walking distance to the opera and other sights. we had a double room that was small but clean. The public areas of the hotel were a little shabby.

Hotel was clean, friendly and helpful personnel, very good area (30-40min walking to Champs-Elysées, 3 metro stops). Bathroom wasn't great, pretty cramped, but I suppose that was typical to the room I had (top floor). A bit noisy because room gave on street. Other than that, nothing exceptional, but good value, I paid only €55 for a double room and in that area and period (14 July), it's a good price.
