PROPERTY SUMMARY

ENTIRELY RENOVATED IN 2006
The hotel Jardins de Paris Morny Saint Lazare was previously the town house of the Duke of Morny, step-brother of Napoleon III and founder of the seaside resort of Deauville. It is situated near the Gare Saint Lazare train station and leading Paris to department stores, and you are sure to appreciate its combination of charm and tradition.
On you return from an evening at the Paris Opera House Garnier or at the Casino de Paris, you will appreciate the refined comfort of one of the 41 rooms decorated in war and friendly style.
In this dynamic area of Paris which plays host to shows, theatre and business, you may well be tempted to visit the famous avenue des Champs Elysées, just 5 minutes away, for a drink in the evening.

In response to your email about our stay with you, I would like to say we enjoyed ourselves very much. We stayed there for 3 days at two different times during our visit to Paris. Our first room was on the fifth floor and it was very comfortable. The only problem was when the elevator went out and we were forced to climb the steps carrying our luggage up and down, but we survived it. Our second three day stay was even better because we were on the first floor in a very nice room with lots of space. We found the employees to be very courteous and freindly, expecially one young man of Algerian descent(unfortunately, I can't remember his name). He was extremely capable when dealing with our needs. We would definitely return to your hotel and would recommend it to friends.

The hotel was good for an inexpensive 3 star hotel in Paris. We were there for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were a bit small by U.S. standards, but that is to be expected in Paris. The location was good, and I would stay there again inthe future. The staff was generally nice and helpful. We enjoyed the shuttle ride to and from the airport.

I stayed three nights at this hotel in Paris and have mixed reviews. For the first night I was placed in a small room on the first floor and got either flea or bug bites. I requested to be moved and was moved to the third floor to a nicer room which was acceptable. My room was for one person. The location was fine and the service also was fine. The staff mostly spoke English and this was a big help. I would not return to this hotel because of the issue with either the fleas or the bed bugs. I did use Airport Connection and this sevice was excellent. The driver was at the airport as scheduled and at the hotel for my departure. Both drivers were highly conversant in English and were quite professional. I defnintely would use Airport Conncection services again.

I stayed in the hotel for a week in a twin room. The room was small but it is quite normal in cities like London or Paris. The room was kept in a good condition and was very clean. I was only dissapointed that the bath did not have a stopper. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. It was quite good considering i paid only 70euros per night considering it is 1 minute walk from an underground station and in a central area.

Clean and tidy hotel only 10 minutes walk from the Roissybus stop. The rooms were reasonably decorated but clean. The breakfast room was delightful. We shall be stopping there on our next Paris visit.

i am answering your questions in the order you posed them. i stayed at the hotel for one night, booked one double room. the room was a disaster. i am not sure whether you know those cheap hotels in the US (new york, Los Angeles etc) where those stay who have nothing to lose, those who have 50 to a hundred bucks left to their name. the room in this paris hotel was almost like this. the smell of old, used carpet in the air, of a lot of people having used it, of cheap room scent/air freshener, a tiny room (we asked for and got changed to a three-person room for the price of a double, which was insignificantly larger; so thanks to the staff, but still evén this room was tiny). the wall had several holes in it, i am talking holes, not scratches or patches where the paint came off, i am talking holes through which you could see the inner workings of a wall, for lack of better terms. sized 10 inches or so. the supposedly quiet back courtyard mentioned in your description actually featured several (drunk? back from a party last night?) guys yelling for quite some time, until someone tried to shut them up - so no quiet there - admittedly perhaps our tough luck that particular day, and that's something i have no problem with. still, perhaps some of your users will want to know. the worst part was the shower: you couldn't switch the water from tub to shower, and, to make it even more ridiculous, the tub ("ok, let's take a bath then..") had nothing with which to shut it, to keep the water inside. so i put a towel there, it worked. i must say though, it was the fastest-emptying tub i have ever seen, and i have seen a lot of tubs in my days, once i pulled the towel out: to the roar of something like a boeing 747 the entire tub was empty in about 8 seconds - that was fun! the staff was very courteous, and the location is great, no doubt. really close to everything, plus subway stations. when it was time to go to the airport, the concierge actually had a friend sitting next to him, who offered to take my friend, not a cabbie mind you. he took forty euros, which is almost twice what this should normally cost, but upon realizing that i come often to this city, and that i knew my way around, and that he probably tried to rip us off a little, he offered to take me, two days later when i left paris, to the airport again for free. which he actually did. nice man. (he could have just given me a wrong cell number for all it's worth, so i do respect him for making up here). i will never return to this hotel, of course, unless, like in new york and LA before ( i am a photographer) i will be interested in checking out crappy, inferior hotels just for the heck of it - i mean this not facetiously, i am serious, i have done this in the past. however, for this, it's sort of not run-down enough (at 75 euros a night i consider this hotel a joke). for those who might add that paris happens to be expensive, and for 75 euros you cannot expect much, i want to say we took a walk through the 6th district of paris, expensive stores and streets, palaces and all, and saw a quaint looking, small beautiful hotel, you know those you expect to be 350 bucks a night, and actually asked to see a room; it was beautiful, sizable, had oak beams on the ceiling and walls, yet the hotel had no stars at all, and the price we found out was, well 75 euros. too bad we had already booked the other one, the one described above. i do hope you will put my critique online, i would want other travellers to know. i heartily disagree with those who say "great value for the money." your particular service was great, and i will use it again. thanks for your time sincerely, mf USA

Good location, parking available in the neighbourhood but very expensive. Older, tidy hotel, sufficient for a one night stay at a (for Paris standards) reasonable price. Staff OK. And YES, we will definitely use your services again.

We stayed for 3 nights. We booked 1 room, with a double bed. The hotel was nice. A/C was a nice because we were staying during the heat wave. The weekend people were very nice. The guy that came in during the week was a little rude. The location was okay. Not close to really anything, but if you have a metro pass you will do okay. I would probably stay at this hotel again, because for the money it was a great deal. Booking through this website saved us a ton of money.
