I stayed for just one night at the hotel.
I booked one double room
I found the bathroom was not very clean and the room was not in very good condition, it was quite dirty and falling apart.
The man running the front desk was very friendly and helpful, which was nice.
I will probably not return to this hotel because I was not comfortable.

The hotel was very conveniently situated near the Metro and close to the centre but that´s pretty much it... The room was dirty, especially the bathroom and there was not a hint of cosiness in it. The breakfast room is dark and depressing. Eventhough the staff was very polite, still the hotel was a disappointment.

We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel, our rooms were spacious, clean and warm (out visit was in january) with room service every day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The hotel is well situated for getting around Paris. We would certainly consider staying here again

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Lafayette! This hotel was not our first choice, but we were so glad to stay there nonetheless. The staff were terrific and very helpful, and our room was charming. We very much enjoyed having a room overlooking Rue Lafayette!

We stayed 3 days & booked 2 rooms. Room was nice & clean, breakfast lovely , location EXCELLENT!! The staff friendly & helpfull. Will definately stay in your hotel again and will also recommend it to our friends. We did use airport shuttle, and were satisfied.

Hôtel très simple mais propre.La chambre 4 personnes trop petite.L'accueil est un peu austère.Le personnel à l'accueil et au service petit déjeuner n'a rien de très professionnnel pour cette catégorie d'hotel.Rien à dire par rapport à la situation

I stayed in the hotel only 1 night. It's rather far away from the CDG airport, it got there by taxi, it took me about 30min, and 40 Euro. But it is quite close to the department store Gallery Lafayette, it just took me 10 min walk.
The hotel is not as comfortable as I expected, and the elevator didn't work when I checked out the hotel! I need to walk down from 6th floor with my lagguage!! But the staff is nice and helpful. I may consider to stay there again in my next trip to Paris, but have to make sure their elevator is repaired!!

a warm welcome from the lady at the reception. we stayed just for the one night. we just look for a stay and find the nice spots in town. The bed was okay and although it was the street side there wasn't so much traffic.
Altogether for us a good stay. But don't expect luxury. It is a good quality/price hotel

Thank you so much for asking, that really shows your professionalism & that you really care to offer the best services for your clients.
I know it is not your fault, but the Modern Hotel Lafayette has to be completely and totally renovated to deserve a 3 stars nomination. I visit Paris every 3 months and it is the first time I see such type of 3 stars hotels. Other then the carpet & curtains, the room must have small fridge (water at least), tissue (clinex), the hotel telephone directory (the reception extension, external line …etc) the door sign (don’t disturb or pls clean the room).
I expressed my point of view to the receptionist and I have been told that they started refurbishing the 6th floor but the heating was not working up there so I stayed at the very old section (the 2nd floor). The location is great, the breakfast very extremely modest, but the prices are excellent. (Actually I prefer to pay a bit more and to get better services).
Thanks again for your concern I believe I will stay faithful to your site, and I hope, amicably, my comments will help this hotel to improve and not to disappoint or to insult them.
In response to your questions: I stayed 2 nights, single standard room, the staff is friendly, I doubt going back to this hotel, and Yes I will use your services again.

I stayed in hotel for two nights, the hotel was really nice but the room was a little bit chilly (outside it snowed and was pretty cold also otherwise). Breakfast was allright, the staff spoke english and were nice. I booked a one-person room with shower, but got a room for three people with bathroom... The hotel location is really nice, although there is quite heavy traffic on Rue de la Lafayette.

we stayed 5 nights at the modern hotel lafayette. we booked a double room and the room actually had a double bed and a single bed. the hotel room was fairly small but it was serviceable. we found the room very warm during the evenings (we were there in november). if we could have opened a window that would have helped but our room opened right on a fairly noise lafayette. if staying here again i would suggest getting a room on the back side of the hotel away from the street. the staff was very friendly especially the women who worked the breakfast room who was eager to make conversation with us in english, spanish and put up with our broken french. i would probably return to this hotel if i were to stay in the 9th district. i will definitely use this service again

Nicely situated with walking distance to most sites. Hotel room was very average (only 2 beds, no tables, chairs, etc) but clean. Continental Breakfast was good.

We had a great experience with this hotel. A double room with one extra bed for a child (that was kindly arranged upon our arrival in mid June peak time) seemed quite spacious for 3 star hotel. Bathroom was in working clean condition, with clean smell. Towels fluffy and clean and a hairdryer is a big plus. Beds are not as good as at home, but for 4 days we could handle. Breakfasts are typically French with fresh bread,butter,honey,jam,tea and cofee. If you are used to fill up your fuel in mornings - you better get extra ham and cheese across the streat in 2 of the quite cheep supetmarkets.
The location could not be better. Even with 4 year old we were able to get to Louvre/D'Orsey/La Opera with no fuss. About 25-30 min of very pleasant walk.
Staff is very helpful and cheerful.
We are planning to come back again sometime.

J'ai eu la chance d'avoir une chambre donnant sur une cour, c'était calme. ( De plus cet hotel n'est qu'à 10 mn à pied des Galeries Lafayette. )La chambre était assez grande et je n'ai pas eu à me plaindre du personnel. Assez satisfaisant dans l'ensemble.

i stay in the hotel for 5 days. i booked a twin dream but actually there are 3 beds inside the room. the room is nice, very big and clean. also the bath room is very big and clean. the location is very good too! the staff are very friendly and i think i will book this hotel again and use this internet service.

My wife and I reserved one doble room, for 4 nights.
The room had a good size, the bed was confortable, with TV include in the room(we didn't have time to watch TV and we don't speak french at all), the room had also the bathroom inside; good size again and everything very clean. The room was on the top floor and we had such a great view of Paris. GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY!!
The hotel is very well located, is a bit less that 10 min. walking from the main train station GARE DU NORD(where the eurostar arrives from london and where the trains arrives from the airport), plenty of coffee shop around, street markets and restaurant, it has a underground station across the stree call CADET line No. 7(no as it says in the web pages LE PELETIER), at night is very quiet around and is close to most of the tourist attractions.
The staff at the hotel very helpful, all of them speak English and you get a free copy of the guardian in the morning.
We didn't try the restaurant at the hotel, so no comments about that.
We definitely come back to this hotel and as well we will use your service again.

I stayed 3 nights with my friend in this hotel from May 30th to June 2nd. We had a twin bedroom. The room decoration was old enough but room and bathroom were very clean so we didn't mind.The only draw back was that there was no air conditioning and it was boiling in the room even at night. The hotel is very handy and central to visit Paris walking.The staff there was very nice and I would return to this hotel. It was very good value for money.

The location of Hotel Lafayette was very good to go walking to every place and was also very quiet. Staff was nice and the room was good, only a little bit old but the bed was comfortable, but it has a good price compared with the other hotels.
