This hotel doesn't really deserve 4 stars. The bathroom was dirty and run-down, the heating didn't work in the ground floor room, which became so cold we had to request extra blankets, which were grudgingly supplied after three visists to the front desk, (nothing was done about the faulty heating). The beds were uncomfortable. The kitchenette in the room was locked, no key was provided despite being asked for.
The requested wake-up call was "forgotten", the breakfast looked unappetizing (there are plenty of cafés in the area) and it was impossible to get a coffee at teh hotel during the day.
If you are meeting people, don't count on the hotel to remember which room you are in, best find another meeting point outside the hotel.
If you are on a tight schedule, order a taxi yourself. Half an hour of belated and half-hearted attempts on the part of the front desk eventually resulted us in making a mad dash for the metro.
The courtyard must be very pretty in the summer, but two stars less would be far more appropriate.

Our stay at the hotel residence renoir was very pleasant. Price/quality a good choice. Rooms on the basement are however far better than the ones on the 1 and 2nd floor. We had different rooms and could compaire. Service was very nice and breakfast very nice too. rgds from Belgian large family.

Thankyou for the opportunity of submitting my comments though I hope you will address them and not simply put them on your site.
While the position is one of the best in Paris and the hotel offers lovely, renovated accommodation, several rather small problems and the staff's negative attitude to dealing with these left us with a very bitter taste in our mouths.
Firstly, the hotel brochure states 24 hour room service and this was a prerequisite for booking this hotel. When we found this to be untrue, we questioned staff including the manager who didn't know this was stated in the brochure (even though there were copies on their front counter), then they arrogantly explained this by saying they had only been open after renovations for a year and hadn't had time to arrange this. We also complained that the shower head didn't work but since this complaint was ecchoed by 4 other groups (that we heard of...perhaps there were more) during our stay, it was impossible to change to a room where a shower did work.
On asking the manager if we could have access to the little kitchenette to compensate for the lack of room service, he insisted on charging an extra E50 per day (the normal cost) and of course, we declined
I was originally thrilled with the service of your hotel site and had looked forward to a 'new' French experience without the problems and arrogance that have plagued tourists to Paris for years but sadly, the whole experience has been immensely negative and I feel you have been let down by a hotel which presents well but has no substance behind the facade!

I arrived early and was rudely told that check in was not until 3pm and expected to wander around the city for 5 hours. when I returned at 3pm, the room still was not ready. The hotel does not look like the pictures, at least our room did not. There is no shower curtain in the bathroom ( which is tiny) and that made for a wet mess everytime we showered. Location was great though. I would choose this hotel again if I knew I would be getting a larger room. Also, the phone did not work ! All in all I think it was overpriced for its quality!

i would just like to share my thoughts on my stay at the renoir.
the service was very poor.
the staff was not friendly.
there was a big language barrier. no one seemed to understand english well and my questions and concerns were rudely ignored.
the heat was not turned on after repeated attempts: while it was snowing outside.
there was no shower curtain.
for two nights stay i was charged one off season price and the an on season, more expensive price.

We booked a double room in the hotel renoir for two nights. the hotel was
excellent. location was ok although a bit of a walk to the tube station. the
room was fabulous, very clean and nicely decorated with our window looking
into a green house. we only met one member of staff but he was very friendly
and helpful. he booked taxi's for us and informed us of the best places to
go, he even supplied us with a bottle opener and ice when we came back early
evening for drinks. i would definetly return to this hotel and would use
your service again. thank you for a very enjoyable stay.
