CLIENT REVIEWS (SCORE : 8.6/10) |
Feed-Back sent by : Anna We had a perfect stay in this fabulous city. Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Thanks for everything. Score given : 9/10
Feed-Back sent by : don measure We spent 4 nights, room was small but very nice. closet door drove my wife crazy (would not slide). Staff could not repair during our stay. Staff was execellent and very professional. For us a great location, near all that we like. Score given : 8/10
Feed-Back sent by : Wenche A very nice hotel perfectly located in the city of Paris. The rooms are a little small, but they are newly renovated - in delicate colours. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and service minded. Score given : 10/10
Feed-Back sent by : Karen Ferguson We stayed 4 nights in 2 connecting rooms(2 adults & 2 children). Whilst your site indicates that there are tea/coffee facilties in the room this is not the case. The hotel's own site indicates 24 hr room service - when we arrived & asked for tea we were told there was no room service. The breakfast at 14 euros was far too expensive for us (4x 14= 56 Euros!)There is a supermarket in basement of Monoprix on L'Avenue d'Opera which is open until 8.50pm (closed Sundays)so we bought our own & had it in our room.
The rooms were immacutely furnished & clean, but very small. We were at the front which was very noisy. Traffic noise, car horns & doors banging up to 1.30 am. Then at 6am the hostel across the street banged their dustbins out every morning & had noisy food deliveries with trollies banging across the pavement & shouting. The dustbin lorry came every morning at 9.00am & made slow noisy progress up the street then reversed with bleeping back up the street! The internal doors on the hotel landing shut with a bang so we were woken by guests returning in the early hours.( Don't wish to moan but Paris is tiring & you need sleep!)
The hotel called us a taxi when we left to Gare du Nord. We were ripped off - not only did he take a circuitous route but he overcharged us by the meter & extra passenger / luggage rules & short changed us! (When we arrived the taxi was 10 Euros - this was 18 Euros!)
The staff were very pleasant & helpful but they did not have much to do except to wish us Bonjour & Bonsoir! One of them did put out a teatray in reception on the Tuesday evening which was very welcome, but not repeated. Score given : 7/10
Feed-Back sent by : Martin Goode we3 stayed 4 nights in a single room with double bed. The location of the hotel was excellent. Although the room isomewhat small, it was well equipped and the bathroom was excellent. I personally would have liked to have hot tea or instant coffee available in the room since it was not available 24 hours. I also woyuld have liked to have a map of the area surrounding the hotel showing restaurants, atm's, etc. We found that the prices were fair and we certainly would return to this hotel again. We did use a cab called by the hotel to take us to the airport and my only comment is that his meter read 10 euros even before we left the hotel. We also took a tour of Paris with a hotel recommended tour. We were the last people picked up and had very poor seats in the van; in fact my wife almost became car sick. The next time we would have to be assured of reserved specific places in the vehicle (e.g. the front seat). The personnel at the hotel were VERY nice and most helpful at all times.
I would have liked to have a less expensive breakfast available; however, there was a great place right around the corner and we uses that. Score given : 9/10 (add comments)
