Margareth from United Kingdom, August 30, 2012 at 5:41 PM Hotel San Luca was wonderful! We arrveid late evening and received a very warm welcome. Througout our stay all staff were extremely helpful. Our room was very good very clean: lots of good quality toiletries: able to control air-conditioning: well-stocked mini-bar. Fabulous breakfast every morning: staff very good Shame we had to leave.

Room facilities are well maintained, but the hotel is located in a very noisy corner in Colombes and the evening receptionist was not able to speak a single word in English (what's not desirable when you arrive at La Defense late at night and call to ask for directions!!). If you need a cheap hotel fairly close to Cnit/la Defense it may be an option.

Hotel had not air conditioning and we were placed on the 4th floor facing the street. We could not open the windows to get fresh air because of the type of window curtains. Additonally, when we did manage to get the windows opened a few inches the noise of the traffic was awful. The furnishings and decoration was not what I would call 3 star. I will say one thing for this hotel, when we complained about the heat they gave us a small fan that helped ease the heat.

The hotel was good. The rooms were clean and comfortable & the staff polite and friendly. The location although not in the city centre was good as it was quiet and convenient, both by bus to Grand Arch and train direct to St. Lazare. We had no trouble going to and from the city. We will stay there again and will recommend the hotel to friends.

I guess that this Hotel is quite price-worty.
We did not, however, try the restaurant. It did not look quite nice, I would say.
We stayed for 3 nights, double room, i.e. two bedrooms.
(The breakfast was not included in the room-rate.
Conveinant with the train station nearby.

The service of the Hotel is very good. They helped us when ever we were in need of Help. I would definitely return to this Hotel, if i visit Paris once again. I would suggest this hotel evn to my friends

situation dans quartier difficile loin de celui de la DEFENSE comme il était indiqué.
Prestation parking nulle (entrée souvent obstruée par des voitures en stationnement)
Trotoir devant l'hotel jonché de détritus
Téléviseur de mauvaise qualité (son)
Ascenseur très petit et d'ancienne génération ne montant pas jusqu'au dernier étage
Peu digne d'un 3 étoiles!!!

J'ai passé une semaine superbe et je tiens à signaler que le personnel de l'accueil,le personnel du bar et du restaurant ont été très sympathiques.
Les chambres sont propres et trés bien soignées

I stayed in a single room for four days. The hotel was fine, room and good shower. The breakfast was good too.
The staff were very helpful and friendly and I had an enjoyable chat with a couple of them.
The location was a bit misleading in that they say the nearest metro is La Defence, which is true, but they didn't mention the difficult bus ride I then had to take, after much time wasting trying to find my way.
However I could have taken the metro from the airport to Gare St Lazare then the train directly to the hotel door, but they don't advertise this, which would have been more helpful.
If I was going to that area again I would use the hotel. I didn't use any other services.
Based on the reduced price I paid through the internet booking it was good value, but I wouldn't pay the regular price for this location.

The location of the hotel is aweful: next to a busy road and a busy railroad. The shuttle to La Defense is infrequent. Keeping the windows closed helps against the noise, but in hot weather suffocating. There is no place to park your car. We asked for a room at the back, but were told that the hotel was full.
